Arthritis has become the most disabilitating disease and we have found so many younger people with not just early stages but later stages of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis during our trade show events. With the acknowledgment by the medical practitioners that many of prescriptive pharmaceuticals cause even more harm than good, more individuals are actively seeking natural remedies that work. The most important thing to recognize in arthritis is that there are two basic situations that you deal with, the destruction of the cartilage with respect to osteoarthritis and ligaments with respect to rheumatoid arthritis and the associated pain that accompanies this first.
When t-cells are turned on to attack the cartilage or ligaments, they leave small particles suspended in the joint fluids, the fluids that lubricate our joints and allow free movement. These particles do two things, they prevent the reabsorption of the fluid into the cartilage which occurs between movements of the joint. This is what causes the swelling of the joint and begins the stiffening of joint movement. Secondly they trigger the signaling to the body of inflamation. This in turn causes the body to send more t-cells to the joint to fight the inflamation which of courses caused the problem to begin with. This is why arthritis in all its forms is progressive and gradually destroys the joints.
The pain is a product of this swelling and the swelling a product of excessive joint fluid. Most drugs including those removed from the market all targeted the pain, which is an effect. Essential oils, however, can target the causes, the particles (toxins as far as the body is concerned). If you remove the particles, the joint fluid can now be absorbed, excess fluid can be removed from the joint and swelling goes down, which causes the diminishing of pain. As swelling diminishes, less t-cells enter the joint, and therefore,
less destruction of cartilage or ligaments.
